Job Description:

Position Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist (Community CNS2)

Employment Type: Permanent Part Time

Hours per week: 32

Position Grade: Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 Year1/2

Salary: $109,945.46 - $113,556.22 (Pro Rata) base salary per annum

Enterprise Agreement: The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations' Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2017

We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to community clients of the Supportive and Palliative Care Service. The successful applicant will be expected to be able to provide evidence-based, clinically sound and holistic patient care in partnership with them and their families and other health professionals. About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Clinical Nurse Specialist who possess a passion for person centred care. We welcome applications from people who have experience in palliative care nursing, who can work independently.

Selection Criteria

  • Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia

  • Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency and hold a current NSW driver's licence (Class C or above).

  • Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least three years’ experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification.

  • Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team at a senior level.

  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated effective computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system.

  • Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse

  • Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
