ABOUT THE ROLE:

Working with the Education Manager as Perioperative Education Consultant responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to);

• Providing support, guidance and mentoring of learners in the perioperative area
• Coordination and management of the Perioperative Introduction to Specialty Practice Program including study days and other learning opportunities as required
• Providing expert clinical, academic advice and guidance to managers and staff in relation to learners in the perioperative area.
• Performance development and management of learners in the perioperative area
• Facilitating regular in-service education and competency sessions

ABOUT YOU:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Post graduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing
• Post Graduate qualification Clinical Nursing Education or working towards
• Exceptional communication skills
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an nursing education role and current clinical experience in Perioperative Nursing
• Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
