As a Chef you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Services Yennora.
St Vincent's Care Services Yennora (locally known as Rosary Village) is a 141 bed facility located approximately 29km from Sydney's CBD.
We are looking for an experienced Chef to run our kitchen. This is a permanent Full-time position for the right person working Monday-Friday 0830-1630. You will be cooking 4 days per week and attending to ordering, compliance and other administration 1 day per week.

Things that work for us:
Trade qualification in Commercial cooking essential and current FSS Certificate (Food Safety Supervisor) preferred
Previous experience cooking in an aged care facility with texture modified foods and fluids a must
Over 5 years experience, including managerial/Head Chef experience running a kitchen
Available to work Monday-Friday 0830-1630-please apply if your availability matches in full.
High level of customer service skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Flexibility to manage special dietary requirements and follow directives as per care plan
Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff
Capacity to work in a multidisciplinary team and willingness to assist wherever needed e.g. cleaning tasks- a team player!
Current flu and COVID-19 vaccination and National Police Certificate
NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role
