About the Role

We are looking for a special kind of person to be part of a well-established Reception team.  As a Receptionist you will provide front of house reception, switchboard and administrative duties to a variety of stakeholders, and our established team of professional receptionists are ready to provide you with on-the-job training and support.

You are a motivated and self-directed individual with demonstrated ability to deliver a high standard of customer service.

We are open 7 days per week, from 7.00am to 9.30pm across two shifts 7.00am-3.30pm and 3.00pm–9.30pm. 
 

Duties for the position include:

  • Efficient front of house services – operation of main Switchboard and greeting patients and visitors

  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Patient admissions, movements and discharges

  • Initiate emergency procedures when necessary and make overhead announcements

  • Direct visitors, patients and staff to appropriate areas within the hospital
     

The classification for this position is HS1A ($27.75 per hour, plus casual loading).

  • Highly competent in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Current national criminal history check, or willing to obtain
