ABOUT THE POSITION:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and suitably qualified senior clinical leader to join our team in the role of Assistant Director of Clinical Services.  

The role will assist the General Manager/Director of Clinical Services in providing professional and operational leadership to the clinical workforce at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane, as well as contributing to the development and achievement of strategic initiatives. 

About you:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated high-level clinical managerial experience with recent leadership experience in a hospital setting.
  • Have knowledge on patient flow and bed management.
  • Substantial recent clinical experience in a hospital environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build and leverage effective relationships / network.
  • Demonstrated effective resource management ensuring a cost-effective service.
  • Demonstrable experience in people management that reflects the values of SVHA.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant regulations, and legislation as they relate to clinical practice.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage quality, safety and risk.
  • Demonstrable understanding of National Quality and Safety Health Service Standards
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a teamwork environment.
  • Intermediate Microsoft skills
