ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

This rewarding opportunity will see you join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) as a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit.  Our Intensive Care Unit has 10 beds and provides critical care for patients who are seriously ill and require highly specialised treatment. We are accredited by the College of Intensive Care Medicine and care for a broad mix of critically ill patients. Our ICU aims to deliver exemplary care and treatment of the critically ill through education, research, and multidisciplinary care in a nurturing environment.

ABOUT YOU:

As an outstanding Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering quality health care

Your skills will include:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years’ post-registration experience
• Critical Care qualifications preferred, or a willingness to study
• Advanced clinical knowledge and critical thinking ability
• Willingness to be a positive team member with an attitude to support others and problem solve efficiently
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 189-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
