COMPLETE Assistant in Nursing - NSW St Vincent's Private Hospital - Sydney

The role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant in Nursing to join the Level 3 DSU theatre team at St. Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney.

This rewarding role will offer you the opportunity to work within the operating theatre environment in a variety of roles assisting the registered staff and administration team with the daily activity of the unit.   The main duties within this role will encompass working in the set up area preparing equipment for next day surgery, assisting with stocking and cleaning of theatres and assisting the admin team as required with phone calls and paperwork pertaining to the unit.

This role will be full time permanent.

Your skills and experience:

As an outstanding AIN, you will be passionate and enthusiastic with the ability to work within a team in a fast paced operating theatre environment.

Your skills will include:

• Excellent written & oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Time management and high-level computer literacy skills
• TAFE Certificate III in Acute Care OR overseas qualification as a Registered Nurse (not yet registered with AHPRA).
• Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care

Remuneration:

St. Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney Nurses' Enterprise Agreement 2022 - Assistant in Nursing : $26.31 - $31.57 + salary packaging + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
