Job Description:

Position Title: Cunningham Long COVID Fellow -  Rehabilitation Medicine
Employment Type: Part Time, Maximum term, 3 year appointment
Hours per week: 24 (0.6 FTE)
Position Grade: Post Graduate Fellow
Salary: As per the award
Enterprise Agreement: The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Staff Specialist Agreement 2021

About the role:
St Vincent’s opened one of the first Long COVID clinics in Australia run jointly by Respiratory and Rehabilitation Medicine. It has been running for over 18 months and has seen over 250 patients. The clinic is under the governance of Heart Lung Service.
This position is expected to undertake clinical responsibilities and research responsibilities over a three-year period.

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Position Title who possess a passion for person centred care. We welcome applications from people who are Manager to include desired experience/attributes.

Selection Criteria:

  • Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
  • FAFRM (RACP) or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Candidates must meet all requirements for the application for a provider number.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised setting
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake detailed history taking and physical examination within a biopsychosocial framework of chronic illness.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem solving skills as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and computer skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in teaching and research and an involvement in continuous quality improvement
