ABOUT THE POSITION:
Join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside team as a Casual CSSD Attendant in our CSSD department with our state-of-the-art Chermside location. This is a casual position, working with rosters created in advance and on call to assist with Leave coverage.

Bring your passion to the position where you will work with likeminded and hardworking to support our staff for our Theatre and CSSD teams. A snapshot of your duties would include:

• Bring responsible for the care and handling of instruments and sets.
• Working both autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Effectively packaging/wrapping, sealing and labelling of instruments and sets
• Delivery of instruments and sets throughout the hospital.

ABOUT YOU:
You will be outstanding in your attention to details and in your understanding of the daily operations of the Theatre and CSSD departments that make you a SUPERSTAR in your role.

• Certificate III in Sterilisation Technology or Certificate 3 in Health Services
• Sound knowledge and understanding of sterilising and supply principles and practices, with the ability to think critically.
• A commitment to continuous quality improvement and the person-centred care model
• Flexible work hours to be rostered over a variety of shifts including participating in our on-call roster.
• Previous experience working within a CSSD environment (highly desirable)

REMUNERATION:

The position of CSSD Attendant in addition to our competitive salary packaging options, is a Level 2 with a base remuneration of: $27.68 - $30.24 + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, + shift penalties or allowances.
