About the Role
Enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technicians are sought to provide medication distribution and pharmacy administration duties within our supportive St Thomas Outpatient services team. Other facets of the role include involvement in quality improvement and service development initiative and involvement in professional development activities across the SVCH/SVHM.
You will have an important role in the administration and management of medication from Webster pack and electronic medical records, while also assisting the team in the day-to-day functions of the administration/electronic medical record area and the management of approximately 1100 health records.
Classifications for this position will range from TF1 ($53,898 per annum pro rata + 25% casual loading).
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Applicants must be enrolled or have completed the Certificate III Hospital Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.

About St Vincent's Correctional Health Service (SVCHS)
St Vincent's Correctional Health Services (SVCHS) provide primary health, primary mental health and subacute health care services to Port Phillip Prison. The prison is a privately operated maximum security prison that caters for 1117 males. SVCHS operates a large outpatient health service (St Thomas) and provides on-site subacute healthcare for up to 40 inpatients in the St John’s unit.
