About the Role
To perform screening mammography at The Rose Clinic David Jones Women’s store in Bourke Street Melbourne and at St Vincent’s Fitzroy campus, including assessment at St Vincent’s Fitzroy.
Maintain a high standard of screening mammography with particular regard to client’s individual needs.
Perform equipment quality assurance tests as specified by BreastScreen National Accreditation Standards (NAS) and Royal Australia and New Zealand College Radiologists (RANZCR) requirements.
Work within accreditation requirements of BreastScreen Australia and RANZCR
Contribute actively to the multidisciplinary team and within team meetings as required
Participate in ongoing education and training in mammography to ensure registration is maintained.
Classifications for this position range from AG1 – CW5 ($86,730 - $99,699 per annum, pro rata for part time).
Your Contribution
Previous mammography experience
Demonstrate ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff at all levels
Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy recognised Diploma or Degree in Medical Radiation Technology
Current licence under the Radiation Protection Act 1982 to operate irradiating apparatus in Victoria
Current Medical Radiation Practitioner AHPRA Registration if required
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
