About the Role

The Anatomical Pathology Department is seeking a highly motivated experienced Medical Scientist with at least 5 years experience who will be rotated throughout various disciplines of the Anatomical Pathology laboratory.

Classifications for this position will range from RX5 – RX7 ($79,597 - $88,224 per annum).

Your Contribution

• Degree of Bachelor of Applied Science (MLS) or equivalent

• Minimum of 5 years in a diagnostic Histopathology laboratory with Surgical Cut-up skills

• Good knowledge of routine Histopathology laboratory practice, including frozen sections Surgical Cut-up, Immunohistochemistry techniques

• Excellent time management skills

• Demonstrated ability to work accurately and reliably

• The ability to work with minimum supervision

• Current national criminal history check, or willing to obtain

Anatomical Pathology
Our laboratory is committed to providing the most comprehensive range of diagnostic services available, it is N.A.T.A. and R.C.P.A. accredited. The consultants are specialists in a wide range of histological, molecular and cytopathological investigations. They are supported by medical scientists and technicians with considerable experience in all areas of anatomical pathology.
