St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane is a private Catholic not-for-profit hospital specialising in healthcare for people with chronic, complex and multiple health needs. Our services include general medicine, geriatric medicine, rehabilitation, pain management and palliative care.
About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to join our Food Services team on a Full-time basis. You will assist our busy team to prepare and cook meals as well as support the delivery of food to our patients across our 164-bed hospital and 180 residents at St Vincent’s Care Services Brisbane.
About you
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cook preferably within a hospital environment.
- Current Food Hygiene Certificate
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge in food preparation, hygiene and infection control procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Workplace Health and Safety and safe manual handling practices
- Availability to work a variety of shifts over a 7-day rotating roster including weekends
