In this rewarding opportunity you will join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team as a full time Engineering Supervisor in our Engineering department working across our Fitzroy campus.

This is a very exciting time to be joining our organisation. Work is underway on a 12 story Fitzroy Tower redevelopment scheduled to open mid-2024. The successful candidate will work with our qualified and skilled team and will be mentored and supported by our Manager Infrastructure & Property. 

The Engineering Supervisor will be required but not limited to:

• Supervision leadership and operational support to engineering staff. 
• Maintain safe and clean working environment
• Enforce procedures and regulation
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and communicate result

ABOUT YOU:
As an outstanding & passionate Engineering Supervisor, you are a master at leading the team of tradespersons and ensuring the provision of reliable and timely maintenance service and a Preventative Maintenance program in consultation with the Manager Infrastructure & Property and other appropriate Managers.

You are also excellent at ensuring the meet the requirements relating to the Compliance to Essential Services and other Regulatory Bodies.

Your skills will include:

• Trade qualifications and relevant licenses (either a Plumbing, Electrical or Mechanical).
• Relevant State Licences for the trade (mandatory).
• Ability to maintain collaborative and effective relationships with all multidisciplinary team members.
• Ability to work flexibly within the Facility service.
• Have a working knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations and legislation.
• Supervisory ability and substantial experience in hospital maintenance or engineering.
• BEIMS experience.
