Job Description:

Embarking on an innovative journey St Vincent’s Health Australia are launching a project to implement an early Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platform across our ten private hospitals. Our vision is to establish a robust EMR foundation and add clinical modules and functionality over time. As the Integration Analyst reporting to the Integration Architect, you will be responsible for the delivery of integration between the EMR and other clinical and administrative applications within the program. You will join an experienced, engaged and dedicated Project team that is committed to transforming patient care for St Vincent’s Health Australia.

Based in our Group Office Melbourne, the position will be offered on a Fixed Term Full-Time arrangement until 28 February 2025.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Assist with the integration and creation, design and deployment of dashboards to be used for strategic and innovative business decisions
  • Work with application owners, subject matter experts, internal and external EMR application and technical teams (among others) to achieve project outcomes
  • Will build/ configure the integration within software applications and integration middleware as appropriate for your integration solution Adept at coding and have an aptitude for problem-solving in an extremely fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Provide support to project leads and team as necessary to ensure the integration solution design meets the needs of the end users

  • Qualification in a relevant discipline – Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology and/or other
  • High level knowledge and experience in digital health applications and interoperability design and implementation (including HL7)
  • Demonstrated ability to code and develop simple and complex interfaces using Java, Javascript
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive stakeholder relationships
  • Proven experience in a similar role and/or complex project environment
  • Passion for solving problems and using your initiative to implement a more effective way to complete a task
  • Current 2023 Flu Vaccine and a minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations
  • National Criminal History Check (within the last 6 months)
