Job Description:

The role:

We have multiple positions available for experienced Patient Care Orderlies (PCO) to join the team.

There are casual, permanent part-time and full time positions available where you will be responsible for cleaning, restocking, and assisting with the moving of patients safely in the Operating Theatres and throughout the hospital. 

The successful applicant will be assisting the perioperative team with the delivery of person-centered care under supervision of Registered Nurses.

Your skills and experience:

As an outstanding PCO, you will have experience displaying your high levels of customer service and clinical care.

Your skills will include:

  • Excellent level of customer service and clinical care
  • Experience working within an acute health care clinical setting
  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and strong work ethic
  • Commitment to continued professional development
  • High-level computer literacy (desirable)
