Position Grade: Occupational Therapist  Level 1-2 (Year 1 - 4)
Salary: $70,944.00 - $101,211.00

About the role:
The occupational therapist is responsible for the provision of quality care to clients of the Older People’s Mental Health Service, which includes attention to their physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs, as well as communication with concern for their significant others.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Occupational Therapist who possess a passion for person centred care.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Recognised Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy and Current Australian Occupational Therapy Registration (AHPRA)

3. Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

4. Able to demonstrate competence, knowledge and experience in the management, treatment and care coordination of persons with a mental illness

5. Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary health care team.

6. Commitment to maximising levels of consumer participation in decision making and choices over treatment and management plans

7. Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development

8. Current unrestricted NSW Drivers License 3.
