Job Description:

Our St Vincent's Virtual & Home program is growing, providing the opportunity for more people to receive high quality clinical care at home. Integrated with the St Vincent’s hospital network we are a multidisciplinary team of physicians, allied health, nursing and pharmacy supporting individuals to leave hospital sooner and achieve their goals. We are an experienced, supportive and dynamic team committed to the growth of quality out of hospital care.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Grade Three physiotherapist with broad experience including orthopaedic, neurological and general rehab to join our Sub-Acute program. Be part of a growing service that supports hospital demand management and meets individual preferences for quality care at home.

On a daily basis you will be:

  • Delivering rehab assessment and goal-based intervention to individuals in the community
  • Responsible for the supervision of physiotherapy students and junior physiotherapists.
  • Working collaboratively with the Virtual & Home multi-disciplinary team to get the best outcomes for individuals
  • Thinking creatively to solve problems in complex environments, and drive quality improvement projects to support a growing business

Your Contribution

  • Relevant clinical experience at Grade 2 or 3 level.
  • Current registration with AHPRA and eligibility for membership to the APA, as well as a current Victorian motor vehicle license are essential
  • Collaborative team work and a commitment to quality improvement initiatives is integral to the role as is working within a proactive learning model to guide professional development opportunities
