About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Podiatrist who possess a passion for person centred care.

Selection Criteria:

1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.

2. Recognised degree in podiatry, current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a podiatrist and current unrestricted NSW Driver’s license

3. Extensive post graduate clinical experience preferably with relevant post graduate qualifications and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in both acute and community High Risk Foot clinics providing evidence based assessment, treatment and management of complex clients.  Demonstrated specialist clinical knowledge and skills in wound management and offloading modalities including casting.

4.Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational levels.

5.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team and apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature across multiple environments including inpatient, ambulatory and community services

6.Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills & proficient computer literacy in MS Word, Email and an electronic medical record

7. Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development, including ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and a demonstrated commitment to research and evidence based practice.

8. Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives, research and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities and research with other staff
