Job Description:

Position Title: Occupational Therapist TACP
Employment Type: Maximum Term Part Time - 30 June 2024
Hours per week: 32
Position Grade: Occupational Therapist Level 1-2

Salary: $70,944 - $101,211 (pro rata) base salary per annum
Enterprise Agreement: The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Professional and Associated Staff Agreement 2022

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP). This role works in a team to provide community-based Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment to patients on the Transitional Aged Care Program, whilst being involved in the case management of clients. This position has flexible opportunities in regard to working hours (including total hours per week) and applicants are encouraged to contact and/or apply for more information.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
2. Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA Occupational Therapy registration. 

3. Current Class C Driver's License. 

4. Demonstrated clinical assessment skills, skill in home modification and equipment prescription, and an ability to provide evidence-based interventions that ensure safety and maximize independence at home.
5. Demonstrated postgraduate community and rehabilitation experience (e.g. neurological and orthopaedic), including the management of elderly clients with cognitive impairment.
6. Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development and a demonstrated understanding of quality improvement principles.
7. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills and computer literacy in MS Word, Email and with electronic medical records.
8. Ability to work autonomously with supervision in a team environment.
