Job Description:

Position Title: Senior Podiatrist – High Risk Foot Inclusive Health Project

Employment Type: Maximum Term Part Time (46 weeks)

Hours per week: 24

Position Grade: Podiatrist Level 3

Salary: $108,595 – 112,114 (pro rata) base salary per annum

Enterprise Agreement: The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations' Professional & Associated Staff Agreement 2022 as amended or in force from time to time.

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Podiatry apartment. The Level 3 podiatrist is an experienced therapist with extensive knowledge of patient care both in the community

and hospital settings. The project is an Inclusive Health project which will be responsible for Implementing access to High Risk foot Podiatry Services for the vulnerable populations and required attend to podiatry screening, consultation, education, assessment and treatment of conditions of the lower limb in high risk foot podiatry services.

The project is an Inclusive Health project which will be responsible for Implementing access to High Risk foot Podiatry Services for the vulnerable populations..

Selection Criteria

  • Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency Tertiary Qualifications in Podiatry

  • Demonstrated general and high risk foot service experience in a tertiary setting

  • Minimum 3 years post registration experience in podiatry with high level clinical skills transferable across arange of clinical areas

  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills and computer literacy in MS Word, Email and an electronic medical record

  • Demonstrated comprehensive awareness and understanding of the complexities of working in hospital,  ambulatory and community services environment

  • Demonstrated advanced clinical experience in aged, chronic and complex related fields

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team and commitment to own personal and professional
