ABOUT THE POSITION:
Join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane team at our spectacular Kangaroo Point location. Working within our Administration Department this is a part time position, 16 hours per week Thursdays & Fridays, with flexibility for additional days. Role commences January 2024.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and self-motivated administration officer to work alongside our clinical theatre team as the theatre ward clerk. A snapshot of your duties will include:
welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone and inquiries
management of operating theatre bookings
liaising with surgeon’s rooms
general administrative duties associated with theatres and theatre bookings as required.

ABOUT YOU:
You are outstanding in administration or receptionist experience with:
Highly professional phone manner and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and initiate action
Well-developed computer skills including accurate data entry skills with good attention to detail
Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a part of a collaborative team
Previous experience in theatre bookings or hospital admissions would be desirable.
