Job Description:

We have an exciting maternity leave contract opportunity for the role of St Vincent’s Health Australia’s (St Vincent’s) National Internal Communications and Brand Manager based in our Sydney Group Office. St Vincent’s is the largest not-for-profit provider of health and aged care services in Australia.

About the role

The National Internal Communications and Brand (NICB) Manager works in the St Vincent’s Group Media and Communications team, reporting to the Group Manager, Media and Communications.

Working with and supporting communications teams across the organisation, the role is responsible for the delivery of enterprise-wide corporate communications that inspire, engage, and deliver genuine benefit to our diverse workforce.

This includes the development and implementation of best practice national communication strategies; communications support for the CEO, national executive leadership team, and key business priorities; plus providing brand and change management communications advice and support for significant company transitions.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 12 years industry experience in strategic and/or internal communications.

  • Advanced Adobe suite skills (Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop essential) to edit/design digital materials as well as video production/editorial.

  • Advanced editorial/writing skills for a range of audiences and stakeholders (executive comms/EDMS/websites/social media).

  • Ability to lead and implement internal communications campaigns across a range of mediums/audiences.

  • Ability to interpret data to drive campaigns and promote organisational objectives.

  • Experience as a gatekeeper of organisational brand and its governance and management.

  • Provide advice and best practice guidance for significant change communications projects.

  • People management experience.

  • Deadline driven/ability to multi-task multiple projects/campaigns.

  • Capacity to manage and prioritise the often competing internal communications needs of a range of internal stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with a range of digital applications and communications channels.

  • Prior experience in internal communications for a large healthcare provider highly regarded.
