ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) is a facility of St Vincent’s Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries.  We are a not for profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee.

In this rewarding opportunity you will join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne team as Acting ANUM in our Cathlab department at our Werribee campus.This role will be part time or full time / fixed term, with working flexible hours per week.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate previous leadership in this area, as well as the maintenance of clinical experience and quality care to meet best patient outcomes whilst ensuring that the philosophy and values of St Vincent’s Private Hospital are inherent in the delivery of health care services.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);

• Works closely with NUM to provide direction, support and advice to nursing & support personnel on a shift-by-shift basis
• Constructively supports the leadership of the NUM and assumes the responsibilities of the NUM in the absence of the NUM
• Demonstrates ability and commitment to support organisational development as directed by the NUM
• Facilitates effective working relationships with staff, customers, patients and VMPs
• Liaise with the Clinical Co-ordinator and NUM to manage patient workload and staffing requirements on a shift-by-shift basis
• Participates & actively supports the achievement of the Unit and Organisational KPIs, Mission, Vision & Values.

ABOUT YOU:

Your skills will include:

• Current Registered Nurse Registration with AHPR
• 1-2 Years Cathlab experience (teching preferred - but negotiable)
• Flexibility

• Ability to work autonomously as the Cathlab leader
