Salary: $128,030.56 - $130,582.09 base salary per annum

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the St Vincent’s Nelune Men's Health Centre, a newly established service in the Kinghorn Cancer Centre. The Prostate Cancer Nurse Navigator provides outpatient coordinated care and navigation for patients with prostate cancer being treated across SVHS.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Clinical Nurse Consultant who possess a passion for person centred care in an oncology setting. We welcome applications from senior nurses who provide an expert service including:
- Coordination of care and navigation for patients with prostate cancer being treated across SVHNS.
- Coordinating internal and external referrals and care practices within the multidisciplinary team .
- Clinical leadership that facilitates the ongoing development of structured practice pathways and integrates translational evidence-based practice.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
3. At least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in an oncology setting and in addition who has approved post registration nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field in which he/she is appointed, or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney.
4. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within the interdisciplinary team and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
5. Demonstrated high level computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
6. Demonstrated high level effective communication and interpersonal skills
7. Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse.
8. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment.
