Responsibilities:

  • Works with hiring managers to assess needs, confirms job openings and develops a recruitment plan

  • Maintains strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure a successful hiring partnership, keeps lines of communication open and reports on the status of the interview and selection process

  • Posts job openings and sources valid candidates for open positions, using recruiting resources, networking and social media sites

  • Develops relationships with area colleges/universities and attends job fairs to build brand recognition and maintain entry level candidate flow

  • Reviews resumes to determine candidate job fit, completes phone screens and makes recommendations to hiring managers

  • Manages the candidate selection/interview process, including scheduling onsite interviews and shadowing

  • Assists the managers in recognizing the key skills and competencies of the candidate to make the final selection

  • Manages the offer and negotiation process

  • Keeps abreast of the healthcare job market and developing trends

  • Works according to the rules, regulations, and recruitment strategies of the organization

  • Creates sourcing strategies and executes those strategies

  • Verify the credentials, licenses, certifications, and background checks of providers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Assess providers' clinical skills, medical knowledge, patient care philosophy, and interpersonal skills

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and credentialing requirements

  • Sending contracts, addendums, and amendments

  • Platforms: Recruitics, Practice Link, Career MD, Skills Survey, Practice Match, NPA, NYSSPA, Chamber of Commerce Job boards

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience with full cycle healthcare or provider recruitment, in a high volume, fast paced setting.

  • 1 year of provider recruiting experience required.

  • Sourcing experience required

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Strong computer skills-MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom

  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system

  • Extensive experience sourcing on tools such as: Indeed, LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, etc.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
