WellNow Urgent Care is one of the fastest-growing providers of urgent medical care, virtual care, occupational health services and clinical research in the United States. Opened in 2012, the company now operates close to 200 centers across New York, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. We acquired Five Star Urgent Care in 2016, with 8 locations primarily in upstate NY.    

As a WellNow Sr. Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist you will be a vital part of the WellNow TA team.  This position plays a crucial role in acting in a senior level by identifying, attracting, and evaluating top talent for various positions within the organization. Sourcing Specialist responsibilities include using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs. Ultimately, you will proactively identify our hiring needs to fill vacancies with qualified employees.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to successful fill open provider and clinical positions
  • Bi-weekly check-ins with sourcing team to ensure alignment on priorities, needs, and position requirements
  • Hitting metrics set by business to meet hiring needs
  • Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed and WorkDay)
  • Develop and create a strong college connection and pipeline
  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search, social media, email campaigns, other recruitment platforms)
  • Conduct initial screenings of resumes and applicants to assess candidate qualifications and organizational fit
  • Assist with conducting phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired
  • Encourage referrals from current employees and external networks
  • Promote and advocate for our employer brand
  • Maintain accurate and up to date information in the candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
  • Partner closely with TA Partners and TA Leadership on priorities, needs, and position requirements
  • Complete administration / coordinator duties such as sending confirmation emails, calendar invites, organization information, dating meeting minutes, etc.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience sourcing providers, clinical roles, and/or DVM positions

  • Familiarity with WorkDay, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs), online sourcing tools, and other recruitment platforms
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates
  • Effective time-management abilities

EDUCATION:

REQUIRED LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION

  • A minimum of an associate’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent work experience or a combination of education and experience will be considered.

MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Exposure to frequent deadlines/ must have ability to handle stress effectively, subject to frequent interruptions
  • Must have good visual and hearing acuity.
  • Must be able to utilize keyboard and view computer screens up to 90% of shift.
  • Must be able to follow directions and plan fairly complex processes & workflow

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend, climb, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions of hands and/or wrists.
  • Requires some physical work; lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 10 pounds.
