Who You Are:

In this role, you are a dynamic real world data methodologist interested in elevating beyond the status quo to ensure development and impact of Sanofi's AI solutions leveraging real world data for the patients of tomorrow. You are an influencer through expertise in real world data, pharmacoepidemiologic or health outcomes research methods. You have a keen eye for improvement opportunities when faced with real world data limitations so that stakeholders’ needs are met when delivering value through AI/ML solutions. You are an individual contributor invested in career growth while working in a cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance related to pharmacoepidemiologic or health outcomes research methods and real world data expertise to ensure success of priority digital product lines or data expansion programs.

• Work with Digital, Data and Business stakeholders to elicit high-level requirements and capture business and end user needs; understand the customer journey, processes, data use, analysis, and quality.

• Work with data science leads in the application of machine learning, statistics, text-mining/NLP, forecasting and optimization to multiple projects leveraging real world data.

• Work with data expansion leads in the evaluation of external real world data offerings or unique real world data builds.

• Use literature review, data, visualization, slide-based storytelling, and data technologies to scope, define and deliver AI-based data products, as well as communicate insights.

Key Requirements:   

• Doctoral in epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, public health, or outcome research, OR Master’s Degree in the same domains with 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

• Knowledge of real world data and its application to support evidence and insights generation throughout the pharmaceutical product life-cycle.

• Experience in real world data including electronic health records, administrative claims, patient registries, or population-based surveys.

• Experience in the application of pharmacoepidemiology or health outcomes research methodologies and analytics to mitigate the influence of bias and/or confounding.

• Accountable, Proactive, Collaborative and Agile.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
