Position Summary


As the Consumer Insights Lead for Rx to OTC Switches, working for Sanofi Consumer Healthcare, you will be an integral member of a, cross-functional agile team in support of development and commercialization of Rx-to-OTC switch candidates.  You will be responsible for representing the voice of the consumer in commercial, regulatory and medical strategy to achieve regulatory approval and successful product launches.  You will design and execute research, synthesize data sources, research outputs and market trends into best in-class insight and recommend action to support business strategies and decision making.

Position Responsibilities

  • Ensure people (consumers, shoppers and experts) are at the heart of everything we do.  Infuse “people-centricity” and champion the external view across our businesses.  Drive “people centricity” in the day to day

  • Be a trusted and close partner of the multifunctional teams including R&D, Medical, Regulatory, Trade & Shopper, Business Development & Licensing teams

  • Collaborate with brand marketing and cross-functional partners to create a learning plan / research roadmap that identifies and addresses key knowledge gaps and business opportunities 

  • Ensure the research roadmap and budget align to key priorities for successful commercialization

  • Manage custom research studies (qualitative and quantitative) to ensure delivery on time, cost effectiveness and quality

  • Ensure consumer insight are woven throughout creative development and innovation initiatives

  • Own a comprehensive understanding of the business environment including competitive brands and products, macroeconomic, social and demographic factors and trends

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in consumer insights to drive innovation and improvement

  • Drive research approaches to monitor brand health and performance

  • Connect the dots across multiple sources of data and information to generate insight and make meaningful recommendations that drive competitive advantage and growth

  • Local and global consumer insights: share & reapply best work across markets serving as a global brand steward; be an ambassador for the local consumers, shoppers and experts, and enable global teams to build iconic brands & winning innovation

  • Support Commercial partners in developing toolkits to be leveraged across global markets for Switch

  • Collaborate with analytics team on measurement findings and indicated actions

  • Leverage agile research methodologies and spring planning to enable rapid assessment of new opportunities and market expansion of existing switch assets

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, innovation management, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

Experience

  • 8+ years of professional experience with relevant consumer insight background.

  • Experience in OTC required, Rx to OTC switch strongly preferred

  • Global consumer insights experience a plus.
