As Product Owner, you will be responsible for the Talent Acquisition/Recruiting & Talent Management roadmap for Workday and other 3rd party systems.  You will have exciting tasks such as supporting the existing framework and paving the way in delivering future enhancements and functionalities.  As a member of the Agile Team, you’ll also be responsible for defining user stories and prioritizing initiatives.  You will liaise with stakeholders and cross functional teams to create, own, and manage the roadmap to bring the most value to the business and users. 

In a constantly changing matrix environment amongst diverse functional teams, you will be able to leverage your tactical and diplomatic approach when solving problems with stakeholders, ability to challenge the status quo and to propose innovative solutions, build strong stakeholder relationships, as well as strong user-oriented approach and independent, autonomous working ability.

Main responsibilities

  • Accountable for the “product” from a “what” and “why” perspective (accountable for vision and digital requirements) for all Talent initiatives

  • Partner with the business on RFPs and the onboarding/implementation of 3rd party Talent applications.

  • Collaborate with the talent team to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure initiatives are aligned with their strategy.

  • Provide HR process expertise and influence decisions on process design and solutions to enhance the employee experience.

  • Foster relationships with executive sponsors, key stakeholders, and customers

  • Participate in design groups and proactively recommend design best practices and technical solutions delivering high business value

  • Work with agile team/pods to provide expertise in answering questions, addressing ambiguities, and mitigating any issues.

  • Own backlog prioritization of work to keep the vision of the product up to date

  • Perform internal and external benchmark on HR processes best practices and corresponding solutions

  • Monitor, analyze, and test items related to WD releases

  • Act as Tier 3 to be able to triage and resolve complex support issues

  • Help prioritize activities and change requests in partnership with the support team

  • Ensure a consistent and integrated approach for HR transversal topics between Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Performance, etc. in addition to other domains such as Learning, Career Management, Workforce Planning, and Analytics

About you

Experience:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Owner or similar role with a passion for HR technology

  • 3+ years of Workday experience preferred

  • Experience in IT Strategy & Governance, Application Design & Integration

  • Global platform experience

  • Demonstrated experience in project methodology (Agile methodology experience or certifications)

Soft skills:

  • Ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly.

  • Must be motivated and solution oriented.

  • Inquisitive - asking "what if" and "why" to reach the best solutions.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across traversal teams and stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required, or certification in HR and/or IT

Language:

  • Fluent English
