Position Summary:

Drive a brilliant customer service and a responsive industrial operation through exceptional leadership collaborative planning and competent management. Meet corporate objectives and volume commitments with excellence.

Implement best practices in the Supply Chain planning environment and balancing IO capacity and customer need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design executable, accurate, and relevant Long Range (4-48 months) Formulation, Filling, and Packaging plans in ERP planning systems: SCPTool / SCP.

  • Work in liaison with Scheduling team – hand off planning to short term operations. Ensure site can maintain the frozen period to allow successful execution in operations. Review changes to production schedules and monitor execution efficiency. Escalate bottlenecks and issues to upper management when necessary.

  • Manage inter-site bulk transfers of product. Communicate plans and changes to internal partners and stakeholders in Sanofi Pasteur affiliates.

  • Perform short- and long-term rough cut capacity planning. Load level production plan and identify/propose potential corrective actions based on customer demand.

  • Master data owner. Ensure critical master data accuracy and escalate issues to master data management. Support master data audits and rive changes and improvement to master data as needed.

  • Inventory and write off management. Monitor short- and long-term inventory risks. Identify potential portfolio write offs and mitigate write off costs.

  • Project manage packaging changes and launches on new products.

  • Works within the policies, procedures and regulations as required by the Company and under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Context of the job/Major challenges:

  • This role performs and/or support analysis of various kinds, such as material flow, inventory, cycle time, customer order management, root cause analysis, planning performance, etc.

  • Liaise with manufacturing areas and improve processes by reducing bottlenecks (e.g. antigen availability, tank availability, production resource capacity) and escalating to upper management when necessary (e.g. War-room meetings).

  • Manage inter-site bulk transfers from formulation to shipment: communicating plans and changes to internal partners and stakeholders in France and US.

  • Manage FF&P metrics and other KPIs.

  • Lead cross-functional team to review production schedules and execute efficiently.

  • Load and update FF&P long-term (4 years) MPS plan into SCP Tool and SAP.

  • Verify correct MPS plan loading into SAP.

  • Support supply chain projects and Change Control Management as needed.

Dimensions/Scope:

  • Management supply chain operation functions (Planning & Scheduling, inventory management) in Toronto and inter-site planning activities with other Sanofi Pasteur sites.

  • This role performs and/or support analysis of various kinds, such as material flow, inventory, cycle time, customer order management, root cause analysis, planning performance, etc.

Key Requirements:

  • University degree, MBA preferred but not mandatory.

  • CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.

  • 3-5 years of supply chain planning experience, preferably in planning and/or scheduling

  • Experience utilizing major ERP platform (SAP preferred, with focus on MM and PP Modules)

  • Experience with Kinaxis will be a plus

  • Knowledge and clear concept on supply chain operations that covers production, planning, logistics, and customer service to support continuous automation initiatives.

  • Understanding of processes and system knowledge and performance, such as ERP/SAP, BI/BW as well as Web-based portal technology
