About the job

Our Team:

The Field based market access team sits within the Market Access division within Sanofi UK. The team works with a wide range of internal and external customers within the UK. There are a number of key roles which the team undertake within this role such as gaining access for Sanofi products at a regional and local level, supporting the defence and growth of our products within competitive market places and developing as well as managing critical projects with the NHS to improve patient care and local NHS services. The field based market access team are a very experienced and well established team who have industry leading skills and a proven track record for success. There is no hierarchy within the team and everyone works to support each other in order to deliver on our asks and deliver success for us as a team.

Main responsibilities:

As a company we are a expanding our experience and work within the project working space with the NHS. These projects cover a wide range of therapy areas and are bespoke to the needs of the NHS. This expansion is creating a number of opportunities for us to develop and create new ways of working with the NHS and expand our expertise within project working and management. The project outline for this role is for an industrial placement student to work with and support the established Project Support Managers to learn about the different aspects of project management as well as the processes that sit behind this.

  • Working alongside the established Project Support Managers to provide additional support and leadership on the scoping out, develop and implementation of joint working / partnership working projects with NHS organisations in line with the ABPI code of practice
  • Working alongside the established Project Support Managers, take responsibility for planning, coordinating, and delivering activities with key customer groups and stakeholders in relationship to a project so that the outcomes of the project are delivered
  • Developing effective project management plans to ensure that key milestones are identified and the obecjtives of the project are achieved within agreed timeframes
  • Being able to develop a project outline which, for example, has then be used by other internal individuals to deliver improved standards of patient care and market expansion across a variety of different therapy areas
  • Developing effective process maps to visualise the flow of a patient through a treatment pathway in order to identify all of the key touch points and any potential areas for improvement
  • Developing, managing, and maintaining constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Working alongside the established Project Support Managers, Provide practical support to members of the Sanofi field based market access teams in terms of the Joint working process. This will be supported through the sharing of best practice from previous projects and giving appropriate support and direction as required

About you

  • Experience: Previous project management experience would be good, but this is not essential as this can be taught
  • Soft skills: effective communicator, team player, Problem-solving, strong work ethic, positive attitude, good time management
  • Technical skills:Competent computer skills, knowledge of using excel and other microsoft systems, data analysis
  • Education: (not mandatory)
  • Languages: English
