MUSC Health - Florence Medical Center is seeking a Robotics-trained Thoracic Surgeon to join an established practice in Florence, SC, only an hour away from South Carolina’s beautiful beaches. This position will replace a Cardio-thoracic Surgeon, and is essential to support our oncology program and the patient population in the area.

The new Thoracic Surgeon will be part of MUSC Health’s Lung and Thoracic Cancer Care program in Florence. The program is currently expanding, with a robust team of pulmonary specialists that perform advanced bronchoscopy, EBUS, and robotic bronchoscopy, as well as lung nodule navigation, and lung cancer screening. The chosen candidate will participate in a dedicated lung tumor board that is held every other week in collaboration with physicians at MUSC’s Hollings Cancer Center in Charleston, SC.
