Job Description

The Hollings Cancer Center and the Department of Public Health Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) invite applications for Research Assistant or Research Associate Professor of Biostatistics. This posting is for a faculty biostatistician affiliated with the Biostatistics Shared Resource within the Hollings Cancer Center, South Carolina’s only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated cancer center. A PhD or DrPH in statistics, biostatistics, or related field at the time of appointment is required.
This position will involve collaborative interactions with Hollings Cancer Center faculty with an emphasis on joint grant proposals, design and conduct of early phase clinical trials, development of statistical methodology to advance cancer research, and the design of laboratory, clinical and epidemiologic studies. Applicants with prior experience working in an NCI designated or comprehensive cancer center are encouraged to apply.
