Job Description

The Inpatient Therapy Clinical Coordinator plays a vital role in our organization's commitment to providing high-quality therapy services to our clients. This position involves overseeing and coordinating the clinical aspects of our therapy programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing support to our team of therapists.

Clinical Oversight/Responsibilities:

Supervise and provide guidance to a team of therapists, ensuring adherence to best practices, ethical guidelines, and organizational protocols.

Conduct regular case reviews and provide feedback to therapists to enhance clinical effectiveness and client outcomes. Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans for complex cases. Provide direct patient care to patients throughout the Chester Medical Center Campus

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay up-to-date with licensing requirements and ensure that therapists maintain all necessary credentials and certifications. Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards related to therapy services.

Training and Development:

Coordinate and facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities for therapists, including workshops, seminars, and in-service training sessions. Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill-building among the therapy team.

Administrative Functions:

Assist in the scheduling and coordination of therapy sessions, ensuring efficient utilization of therapist resources. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress, treatment plans, and other relevant documentation.

Collaboration and Communication:

Foster strong working relationships with other departments and external partners to ensure seamless integration of therapy services within the organization.

Communicate effectively with therapists, team members, and stakeholders to facilitate a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Additional Job Description

Experience: Proven experience in clinical supervision and coordination within a therapy setting. Strong understanding of ethical guidelines, legal regulations, and best practices in therapy. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required, Master’s or higher preferred.

Certification/License: Current South Carolina licensure or certification as a licensed physical therapist
