The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Operations Team supports the key business processes of our various business teams working to serve Amazon teams working in our corporate office buildings worldwide. 

The Continuous Improvement (CI) Lead develops and executes CI strategy, supports continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives and leads a team of business process subject matter experts. The role engages with other departments to evaluated, improve, and develop all processes to achieve outcomes. The role engages with stakeholder partners on the delivery of strategic improvement projects while also ensuring that projects remain clearly aligned to the delivery of JLL's strategic objectives and that clear and robust governance arrangements are in place for these projects. The CI Lead facilitates business process development and mapping and helps to evaluate processes for duplication and gaps.

Success in this role requires leveraging Lean, Six Sigma for Services and other tools and techniques to drive continuous improvement and facilitate or guide process improvement, assessment and development to internal teams. An ideal candidate is analytical, autonomous, and cross functionally collaborative with exceptional communication and leadership skills. They are accountable towards organizational goals and work backwards from customers, stakeholders and dependent teams to successfully deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. Above all, they should demonstrate a high level of ownership to ensure our teams are operating the most effectively and efficiently. 

Key responsibilities of the role include (not limited to):

1.     Responsible for meeting project/program objectives within quality, time, and for managing associated risks.

2.     Provides leadership to managers, supervisors and/or professional staff.

3.     Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related units.

4.     Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional objectives

5.     Transform raw thoughts into clear documentation and requirements (e.g., project charter, statement of work, responsibility matrix, functional requirements, implementation approach, reporting, etc.).

6.     Drive and facilitate complex projects focusing on results and measuring attainment of outcomes.

7.     Design scaled processes by gathering functional requirements, identifying resources needed, and defining milestones and launch schedule to ensure timely and successful delivery of the projects.

8.     Influence stakeholders (including Global Program Owners and Regional Managers) outside your direct area of responsibility to ensure delivery.

9.     Identify and mitigate risks, and remove roadblocks within projects.

10.  Drive accountability from stakeholders for progress on key program actions through active engagement and escalation.

11.  Able to dive deeply into details as easily as convey high-level plans with clear and concise verbal and written communication.

12.  Execute stakeholder engagement processes implementing and improving processes across GREF teams.

13.  Apply analytical skills to identify trends and business impact within reported issues and develop projects to eliminate the root causes.

14.  Conduct effective meetings including business and program reviews.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

-        Experience facilitating teams through complex process mapping and process improvement activities.

-        Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery.
Experience defining and executing against program requirements.

-        Minimum 5 years’ experience leading continuous improvement initiatives with a track record of delivering projects with impactful business goals.

-        Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

-        Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

-        Strong presentation and written communication skills as is the ability to manage effective partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders across a variety of groups throughout Amazon

-        A Bachelor’s degree or higher

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience in change management and driving adoption of new tools, processes, and decision support.
· Strong service mindset and ability to use metrics to measure service levels.
· Experience in setting up or refining operational metrics.
· Graduate/Master’s degree in related field
· Certified Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is a plus
