What the job involves:

We are currently seeking an Intern in Sourcing and Procurement join our team. As an intern at JLL, you would manage and organize contract and supplier files, ensuring compliance with company and client requirements, and coordinate communication and contract negotiation with suppliers and operations teams.

As an Intern in Sourcing and Procurement at JLL, you will:

• Administer and maintain contract and supplier files to ensure compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle and client requirements
• Administration of supplier files, certificates of insurance, amendments, letters and other contractual documents
• Prioritization, communication, coordination and contract negotiation with suppliers and operations teams
• Conduct spend data management activities including cleansing, analytics, summarize for clear business actions
• RFP project preparation including category industry research, data analytics, supplier identification, document preparation, strategic consultation
• Supplier performance management functions including survey reviews, data aggregation, trend analysis, summarizing for executive presentation
• Perform additional job duties, as requested

Education, Skills, and Experience

• Undergraduate students majoring in Business, Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management or experience supporting real estate, facilities services or Supply Chain Management
• Strong verbal and written communication and inter-personal skills
• Organization skills with strong analytical ability
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to think critically and problem solve
• Excellent PC skills and Microsoft Office applications proficiency
• Ability to think and work independently
• Ability to work with multiple people on a variety of differing projects and meet assigned deadlines
• Desire to learn more about our industry
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative 
• The ideal candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of Commercial Real Estate.
