What this job involves:

Steering projects at the helm

To be stationed in (region/country), you’ll work side-by-side with the PDS leadership  to ensure the success of a project—from its pre-design phase to its completion. You’ll assemble and lead various project teams; and monitor the teams’ performance, and bring out the best in every team member. You’re also in charge of creating the organizational structure, project objectives and working procedures for the teams.

Your project management skills will also be of great value, as you set up clear project cost plans and allot sufficient budget to achieve optimal results and meet the company’s target profits. Also part of your job is to attend project meetings as required, develop monthly reports and carry out contract administration. Furthermore, you’ll oversee negotiations, analyses and promotions of quality control systems.

Management of multiple external stakeholders like client, consultants and vendor partners for effective communication and project delivery. On-site coordination with landlord and vendor teams for construction management of fit-out projects.

Boosting client relationships

Helping clients achieve success is what JLL does best—and your role is an extension of this tradition. To effectively help our clients, you’ll identify their needs and constraints, and work around these challenges.  You also have to effectively represent our clients throughout the whole duration of the projects. You will require to liaise with multiple client stakeholders for effective project coordination. Do you have an enormous talent for promotion? Risk Management

You will require to identify upcoming challenges, articulate the same in project reporting. In addition, you are expected to effectively communicate these risks during project stakehodler meetings. Appropriate mitigation measures to meet agreed project timelines / cost shall be suggested and agreed with client.

A seasoned expert

The ideal candidate is no neophyte—you should exhibit high-level management skills, and should hold a degree in relevant property-related discipline. Likewise, you should have established yourself as a professional within design, construction and project management. Moreover, you should have a proven track record in profit planning, business development, networking and marketing.

An effective communicator

Are you considered a natural communicator?  Alongside your native tongue, do you have a strong grasp of written and spoken English? You’ll need it in this role - strong communication skills will surely land you the job.

Likewise, you’ll be in charge of creating an environment where all team members are encouraged to contribute; as well as managing company staff to achieve enthusiastic and effective contribution to the project. Furthermore, you’ll actively search for improvement opportunities, and empower the team to implement them.
