  • Provide impactful leadership in a collaborative and dynamic environment. 
  • Collaborate with Sourcing & Procurement (S&P) and Markets Property Management (MPM) leadership to establish a strategic plan, manage and communicate it, and most importantly – deliver results to support the growth of the Markets Property Management business.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing team to best support MPM business.  Work directly with leadership (S&P and MPM) to manage expectations and team deliverables.  This includes accountability for effectively managing, mentoring, recruiting, and developing a team of best-in-class professionals focused on the MPM business.
  • Understanding that the hybrid work environment is a new normal, it’s critical that as a leader you spend time face to face time with Clients, Suppliers, and JLL colleagues to build the S&P foundation in support of the MPM business.
  • Closely collaborate with Americas Product Sourcing & Category Management, Sourcing Solutions Development and relevant business stakeholders to retain, grow, and win new business.

Achieves Financial/Compliance Results

  • Oversight of annual sourcing plan development and implementation.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to clients/stakeholders and recommend strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating risk.
  • Own sourcing compliance and controls. Identify and develop opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure sourcing technology tools are leveraged where possible.
  • Partner teams with operations by providing management, detailed instruction and follow up to support the operations teams in standardized RFP/bid and contracting processes.
  • Develop and maintain systematic, analytical, and results-based method for savings, monitoring supplier’s performance, sourcing effectiveness and communicate these results to the business.

Develops and Leads High Performing Teams

  • Recruit, develop, rotate, and retain top Sourcing talent.
  • Support the career development of key roles through mentoring and visible leadership.
  • Create high-performing, integrated sourcing teams that are committed to delivering sustainable operational excellence.
  • Manage and coach teams on their performance, progress and developmental goals including analysing strengths, and areas of opportunity for growth into actionable career development plans.
  • Actively support Supply/Demand within the sourcing platform by networking, mentoring, and sharing diverse internal and external candidates
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture.

Establishes and Nurtures Strong Relationships

  • Ensure the vision and strategy of the client sourcing plans are implemented and aligned with necessary objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships within MPM including but not limited to General Managers and Market leaders.
  • Proactively manage suppliers to ensure overall performance expectations are met across the associated accounts.
  • Provide strategic vision for all S&P aspects of business including best practices and innovation.
  • Effectively develop and lead complex short-term and longer-term sourcing strategies, effectively manage suppliers and internal networks to deliver best in class performance.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders including Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management.
  • Collaborative and influential leader – persuasive and instils confidence among stakeholders; significant gravitas to have impact and respect among peer group throughout JLL.

  • 8+ years of strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories related to facilities services highly desired along with people management experience 
  • Property Management experience (required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Business, Supply Chain Management preferred 
  • MBA, a plus 
  • CPM, CPSM or CPSD certification preferred 
  • Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications - Excel, Word & PowerPoint 
  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. (approximately 10-20%)
  • Will manage a direct teams of 3-5 employees
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, including on-site at client locations, JLL office, and at home.

Estimated compensation for this position is:

105,000.00 – 170,000.00 USD

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable.  The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
