What this job involves:

As a Occupancy Planner, you’ll be driving the development of occupancy plans and sequencing of group-level and individual moves as well as facilitate and/or resolve planning issues identified in customer planning meetings. You will ensure that planning is aligned with corporate guidelines, and that all scenarios maximize use of space.  You will recommend, educate, and enforce space policies/standards, procedures and protocols and notify the client of customer requested exceptions; and as necessary, assist in developing site-specific.

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Ocupancy Planner to join our team:

  • Location:CDMX
  • Work scheduleMonday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
  • Work model: Hybrid.

What is your day to day?

  • Keep track of spatial data and a file that supports it (plans and occupancy data).
  • Being highly organized to present information, trends and proposals for reconfiguration and test fits.
  • Maintain leadership to collect data from various business units and understand their spatial requirements and mobility needs.
  • Be creative in providing solutions that benefit all stakeholders.
  • Maintain transparent, constant and fast communication for all the participants of the various projects.
  • Carry out analysis of access cards, occupancy peaks, IP connections and / or manage any existing database that provides additional information and allows real estate decision-making on: removals or changes in the built space.

Desired skills and experience for this job:

  • 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible experience in managing occupancy, space, move management, and change management processes
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture systems
  • A working knowledge of occupancy utilization, office design principles and trends such as the mobile or collaborative workplace
  • Experience with implementing flex office, hoteling and alternative workplace solutions programs
  • Highly organized and demonstrates high level of performance in project budgeting and scheduling
  • Expert level data analytical skills
  • Critical thinking skill sets and the ability to tell a story through data
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve and navigate through ambiguity
  • Possesses proactive mindset and contribute as a senior leader of the occupancy planning team
  • Great relationship building skills and client experience focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; including active listening, verbal, written and visual and the ability to engage at all levels of leadership from administrative to executive level
  • Ability to understand complex ideas and communicate them to others on the account
  • Ability to create accurate and credible planning reports to support Corporate Real Estate decision making
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy - particularly numbers and spatial creativity
  • Flexible, proactive and adaptable
  • Reliable, responsible, and disciplined
  • Ability to go above and beyond to help with any tasks that might come your way and solve problems effectively
  • A team player who successfully collaborates with others and is productive working independently
  • Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
  • Proficient with MS Office – especially PowerPoint
  • Expert level mastery of MS Excel
  • Proficient in Bluebeam Revu for mark-up, take-off, and document organization - preferred
  • Proficient with AutoCAD
  • Experience with CAFM / IWMS software - required
