COMPLETE Engineering Supervisor - Beijing, CHN

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the engineering lead in client’s campus to effectively manage relevant engineering operations, maintenance, underground space and facilities management.  Ensure all procedures, processes, and client requirements are undertaken in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manage the maintenance suppliers for the assigned facilities including parking equipment, exterior logo, EV charging piles, elevators, water supply and drainage, sewage treatment plant, curtain wall and building interiors, etc.
• Coordinate with other function teams for overall building maintenance and repair issues.
• Compile SOW for Capex and Opex projects as needed, prepare bid technical evaluation, manage construction, acceptance inspection, invoice and quality warranty processes.
• Ensure the implementation and management of risk & safety work practices in related systems and areas to eliminate unnecessary interruption to the clients’ operations.
• Conduct statutory required inspection and testing to ensure EHS compliance.
• Act as point of contact for any emergency situations to elevator, water supply, water leakage & related infrastructure failures.
• Manage maintenance suppliers to ensure planned preventive maintenance activities are carried out and completed in accordance with specifications, local codes, safety practices and timely manner.
• Supervise the works of construction contractors and maintenance suppliers where necessary.
• Work in conjunction with the engineering lead to ensure the on-site suppliers are well trained on all facilities policies, procedures and systems.
• Support engineering lead on financial, lifecycle refreshment, project planning and progress reporting.

COMPETENCIES / REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) industry, with electrical and automation knowledge.
• Bachelor degree holder in automation, electrical engineering.
• Substantial and practical knowledge of facilities management, maintenance operations and engineering and risk management.
• Experience in managing maintenance vendors. Must be result focused and be able to lead the vendors to excel and accomplish these results.
• Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm and can work autonomously as well as in a team environment, in an effective and efficient way.
• Self-starter, team-player with can-do attitude who is capable to finish job before deadline under pressure.
• Practical knowledge in common building systems.
• Familiar with local statutory requirements in facilities and engineering operations including occupational safety requirements.
• Ability to analyse complex problems, identify root cause and generate solutions.
• Excellent communication skills – written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Relevant working experience with CAD and BIM application would be an advantage.
