Job Description : 

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is recruiting a full-time Infectious Disease physician to join our practicing serving Forbes Hospital, a suburb of Pittsburgh. This position will be based at a Level 2 Trauma Center that is staffed by a robust 24/7 Hospitalist service. Provide IP consultation to high-volume facility offering diagnosis, treatment and prevention of varying infectious diseases. Work collaborative with all specialties and subspecialties within the facility to provide compassionate, high-quality care in the inpatient setting.

Qualifications:

  • PhD/MD Graduate of accredited medical school with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Disease fellowship by an accredited association.
  • BC/BE in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
  • Current PA MD licensure in good standing; current unrestricted DEA certificate
