COMPLETE Financial Controller - Copenhagen

Job Description:

Satair’s Finance Operations & Accounting department is looking for a Financial Controller to join their great team. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for performing end-of-the-month closing and reporting, including coordination, reconciliation, and booking of special items. You will also work with the Head of Finance to organize the end-of-the-year closing process, prepare annual reports, tax calculations, and documentation for auditors. A large part of your job will be to manage information requests from external and internal auditors as well as from our tax advisor.

In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be a part of the daily operations in the Finance department and therefore have administrative tasks related to payments, insurance, and treasury management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-of-the-month closing and reporting including coordination, reconciliation, and booking of special items.

• Work with the Head of Finance to organize the end-of-the-year closing process, prepare annual reports and tax calculations, as well as prepare documentation for auditors.

• Manage information requests from external and internal auditors as well as our tax advisor.

• Perform administrative tasks related to payments, insurance, and treasury management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance such as cand. merc. or similar.

• Accounting and financial controlling experience from a large international company is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Knowledge of IFRS and SAP is appreciated.

• A digital mindset and a drive to improve current processes 

• Personal integrity needed to secure compliance with internal policies and external requirements.

• Good grasp of English is necessary since you will have contact with colleagues in China, Singapore, Germany, the UK and the US.
