Job Description:

We are seeking a Supply Chain professional with personal drive, eye for details, and hands on approach to challenges. 

With reference to the Head of Supply Management OEM Parts Europe, you will join a local team of 12 dedicated Supply Officers and a global team of four Supplier Performance Managers. 

What the job is...

As a Supplier Performance Manager you will take on a key role within Supply Management where you will be responsible for monitoring our suppliers performance and ensuring their compliance to agreements and contracts. 

You will play an active role in identifying challenges in our supply chain setup, perform root cause analyses as well as driving initiatives and actions in order to improve supplier performance. This could be performance relating to late deliveries, non conformity of product quality or similar blocking points which needs review.

You will work closely together with our Product Management team, deriving short term corrective actions as well as building sustainable long term strategies for our non performing suppliers. You will also be working with other stakeholders internally and externally, with the main goal in the end to provide our customers with the highest possible service and delivery performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Closely monitor supplier performance and suppliers ability to conform to agreed contractual obligations

  • Conduct analyses and make data driven decisions based on data availability from platforms such as SAP,  Skywise and Celonis. 

  • Prepare supplier performance summary reports and present to relevant both internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure good transparency and focus

  • Based on analysis cooperate with our Product Management team and the suppliers in order to create action plans for improvements in areas which need to reach set performance targets

  • Support our team of Supply Officers in escalations regarding supplier conditions 

  • Support the creation of customized data extract, reports and analysis on request by interfacing functions.

  • Initiate supplier conference calls and meetings

How you will contribute to the team

  • You have a strong knowledge of supply chain methodologies, tools, and processes including Purchasing, Supply Management, order handling, or similar

  • You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills and experience in performance measurement techniques

  • You are used to working with data extracts, and preferable you have experience working with SAP

  • You show excellent communication and presentation skills

  • You are independent, proactive and take initiatives in order to drive and achieve agreed objectives 

  • Amongst many divers tasks you have the ability to structure your time, prioritize and keep deadlines

  • You have an ability to quickly adapt in a fast paced and changing environment. 

  • You are fluent in written and spoken English

  • Preferable, but not required, you have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Procurement or related field

  • Preferable you have minimum two years of experience in operational Supply Chain Management or Procurement 

And most importantly, you have a positive mindset and value a good team atmosphere
