In order to support our IT Infrastructure and Network team, we at Airbus Airbus Aerostructures are looking for an Operational Solution Architect (d/f/m) - Identity- & Access Management (IAM).  

Become part of our friendly and cooperative IT infrastructure and network team and accompany the challenges of the ASA as a pioneer for zero-emission aircraft and manufacturer of large structural components.

In your role as an IT architect, you will play a key role in driving the transformation of the newly founded company.

You can expect challenging IT projects that ensure a stable, secure and sustainable company IT infrastructure.

In addition, we are facing major challenges in rethinking and transforming the development of the company in the IAM area.

In our IT networks and application landscapes, we rely on powerful IT solutions to ensure the demanding requirements and the continuous production of aircraft structures.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • You will act as a visionary to proactively help define the direction for future IT products and services and validate product designs

  • You will collaborate with other architects, systems analysts and developers to deliver the highest quality solutions using cutting-edge technologies

  • You will define models, including solution patterns, to guide solution decisions

  • You will participate in all phases of the application development lifecycle, including research and design, development, testing, implementation and support

  • You will align architecture strategy with the organisation's business objectives and long-term strategic planning for the organisation's information systems

  • You will perform the technical/ functional design of the application and infrastructure components of a new solution according to the defined functional design

  • You will provide business process expertise, change management transformation, functional improvement and technology support for business process redesign and assist architects on projects.

Necessary skills and qualifications

  • You hold a degree in (business) informatics or bring a comparable qualification and have several years of relevant professional experience and solid knowledge of IAM principles, methods and technologies.

  • You have a sound technical expertise in authentication techniques

  • You have good knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and you feel familiar with industry standard frameworks related to IAM.

  • You bring good (proven) knowledge of ISO 2700x, ISO 20000, BSI-Grundschutz and ITIL frameworks and ideally, you have relevant security certifications.

  • You are experienced in project management.

  • You are a team player with strong communication skills and a high quality awareness.

  • You are a goal- and solution-oriented thinker with strong analytical skills and  a methodical, structured approach to work.

  • You bring very good knowledge of both German and English.
