Job Description:

We are currently searching for a:

Project Engineer for Structural Health Monitoring SHM (m/w/d)

Location: Bremen

Amount of hours: Full-time (37,5h)

Type of contract: Permanent

Your tasks:

  • Manage and lead projects related to structural health monitoring from initiation to completion.

  • Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to ensure successful project execution.

  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and safety.

  • Prepare project budgets, monitor costs, and track expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations throughout project execution. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders, including clients and senior management. Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals, ensuring high-quality deliverables within established timelines.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements, address concerns, and manage expectations effectively.

Our requirements

  • Master degree in Materials, Electronic Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably with a focus on high-value and international projects.

  • Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and familiarity with structural health monitoring techniques.

  • Proven experience in managing complex projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, and risk management.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

  • Basic know-how on Export Control would be beneficial.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory. Fluency in German is a strong plus.

  • Professional certifications in project management or structural engineering are desirable.
