Job Description:

Responsibilities - your mission:

  • Ensuring understanding and operational implementation in the Communications & Corporate Affairs organization of the corporate security strategy;

  • Identifying business constraints and needs related to security and then contributing to the security continuous improvement,

  • Defining the annual objectives in line with Corporate Security strategy according to the Security Maturity Assessment 

  • Promoting and ensuring appropriate security culture in the Communications & Corporate Affairs,

  • Acting as the business focal point in case of security incident (alerting process, impact evaluation, information reporting, …),

  • Identifying business constraints and needs related to digital security.

 

On top of the Security Officer responsibilities, you will act as Data Protection focal point for Comms & Corporate Affairs:

  • Perform the necessary inventories, audits of the processes, identify those that handle and transfer sensitive or personal data ; put in place the relevant corrective or improvement actions if required and monitor during life time: 

  • Ensure that the function’s processes are compliant

  • Monitor processing involving personal data and mitigate potential risks

  • Record personal data processes in ExpertPIA, Nymity Tool 

  • Undertake Privacy Impact Assessment as required

  • Actively raise awareness in the function, facilitate Data Protection (DP) initiatives regularly bring status updates:

  • Raise awareness of function’s managers and employees on data protection, 

  • Ensure the DP Office is aware of nre projects and updates 

  • Support and facilitate implementation of initiatives and actions,

  • Support and provide Data Protection Office with information related to the function’s suppliers, contracts and services (validity period, kind of services provided, personal information processed...): 

  • Be in charge of contract or services update to comply with GDPR requirements , ensuring that related GDPR terms are implemented and updated

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:

  • 5-10 years experience in Security management (anticipation, response, business continuity, crisis management), Digital Solutions Management and/or, Project Management

  • Experience in International Security Standards, Developing Security Strategy, process governance & organisation

  • Security and/or Corporate Security certifications is a plus

  • Demonstrate structured, analytical and strategic-thinking through excellent written and verbal communication skills and the compelling ability to articulate concepts and persuade stakeholders at all levels. Ability to manage by influence.

  • Proactive and result-driven attitude, with a proven track record of execution and delivery in fast-moving environments, preferably in multi-functional team setups

  • Confidence in bridging between diverse stakeholders and in unifying business needs, in line with IT constraints 

  • Experience in making difficult prioritisation decisions based on the understanding of stakeholder and business benefits and trade-offs whilst focusing on simplification 

  • Display exceptional organisational skills (with high attention to detail) and the drive to push teams to achieve superior performance in a matrix-organisation, aligning them on the common objective. 

  • Be an open, solution-oriented person, looking at processes and problems with a hands-on, get-it-done mentality to solve them collaboratively.

  • Experience of working in a matrix management model, utilising virtual teams, with a deep sense of teamwork and collaboration. 

  • Familiarity with managing organisational, operational and/ or technological change 

  • Understanding of Communications and Marketing business needs and challenges is a plus

  • Continuous passion for digital solutions applications, innovations and up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, internet trends and emerging technologies is a plus
