Job Description:

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance 

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional

LOCATION: Corsham, Wiltshire

Airbus Defence and Space are booking for a SATCOM Technology Officer to join our team in Corsham in Wiltshire.

Reporting directly to the HO Skynet Engineering you will help define the Network System Architecture and the development logic according to aircraft/spacecraft/product architecture requirements, to integration constraints and to aircraft/spacecraft/product logic.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM 

  • Define ad-hoc development assurance level with regard to development risk.

  • Define system development logic consistent with development assurance level.

  • Perform trade-off analysis in order to select the best system architecture fulfilling system/product requirements.

  • Lead verification of the system/product implementation and its interfaces, on the real or virtual system.

  • Lead operational and in-service evaluation.

  • Lead impact analysis of any design change request during the entire product lifecycle.


 

ABOUT YOU

  • Ability to elicit and validate system/product requirements whilst considering the complete system lifecycle.

  • Experience of leading analysis (Analysis of characteristics and performance)

  • Experience of system modelling using appropriate modelling methods and tools.
