Job Description:

Role objectives Support global export and import teams and ensure that Satair Group export and import control processes comply with international and national laws and regulations as well as Airbus Group compliance and export control programs. Furthermore, ensure that the import and export control program instituted in Satair Group prevents interruption of business, payment of penalties and legal consequences to the company, its management and employees Responsibilities Report all non-compliance issues to HO Export Control and applicable stakeholders. Support the development and implementation of a robust global export and import control program for Satair Group Ensure that all provisions are fulfilled in the daily processes and provide the necessary training and guidance to achieve full compliance in all countries where Satair Group has operations Play a proactive role in getting export control considerations involved into the impacted business cases as early as possible to address legal requirements Provide support to operational teams in all fields of export and import compliance Cooperate and network with Airbus Legal and Export Control Officers Provide training and awareness sessions to the teams Support and initiate continuous improvements and maintain internal and external audits of the program Report KPIs to HO Export control Prepare and submit license applications to the authorities Maintain export control records and reporting Support external export compliance audit schedule and the closure of actions of these audits Support the development and implementation of an internal audit plan to ensure continued compliance Act as back up for the global export control team Support hazmat material initiatives and compliance within Satair Group Develop and support customs initiatives and reporting to ensure compliance with local and EU customs laws and regulations General Comply with Satair Group mission, values and Quality Management procedures Comply with Satair Group guidelines on Ethics & Compliance Understanding, sharing and living of Satair Group values and rules Respect Satair Group processes and procedures agreed per function Keep the direct report informed of the status of agreed tasks and of any critical problem areas Participate in optimizing Satair Group business procedures by applying existing Satair Group IT systems Comment/advise on unsatisfactory situations within the organization, and propose potential solutions for improvements Identify and offer suggestions to improve efficiency Be well informed about and familiar with the latest developments in Satair Group business Participate in occupational safety and health efforts Contribute towards a positive and inspiring working environment
Personal & interpersonal skills Goal-oriented Detail-oriented and good follow-up skills Analytical Problem-solving Logical thinking Good people skills Ability to motivate Decisive Proactive Positive attitude and communication Capable of representing Satair Group Professional skills Fluent in English, both verbal and written Knowledge of US export control and regulations and European law Familiar with operations and customer support Experience in export control management Ability to review, correct and recommend changes to official government documentation and company reports and regulations Knowledge of national and relevant international regulations and legal framework concerning export control (national export control regulations, EAR, ITAR and EU) Working knowledge of the relevant national, EU and US regulations (ITAR and EAR) and knowledge of other relevant national regulations and understands the impact on the business Knowledge and understanding of export control related regulations (e.g. trade controls, sanctions and embargoes and the implications of employing people of foreign nationality)
