Job Description:
Position Summary –
Drive the creation of repair shop network using existing USM processes for Satair Chengdu including contract negotiations
Challenge, analyze and improve the individual repair shop lead-times
Perform an effective control of repair activities, securing a close understanding of repair shop overall situation and scope. Implement recovery, improvement and development plan in order to secure delivery of the products and services in conformity with contract
Act as focal point towards the repair shop for operational activities and as lead of the repair shop toward internal functions
Administer repair orders, warranty claims activities in accordance with Satair’s objectives and strategies ensuring that our products and services are delivered on time, quality and cost for highest customers’ satisfaction
Primary responsibility -
Initiate set long term development targets together with the GM, and in close coordination with business development team and Repair team
Engage with leading OEM, MRO shops in selecting them using standards described in process manual
Manage supply chain & quality aspects of the contract, being responsible for On Time, On Quality and on cost
Issue repair and warranty orders to approved repair stations
Follow-up progress on improvement actions and communicate on improvement plans
Root cause analysis in case of repetitive displeasures
Review regularly the Repair Stations on site with a team of contributors
Proactively communicate with the repair shop and ensure that the customer service organization is up to date with any development on the repair shops’ side, its capabilities and its financial and operational
Ensure transparency and management of the different repair capabilities
Ensure proper internal co-ordination with in house Quality team
Participate in the development of the overall repair shop strategy
Work out of short term recovery plans if case of performance anomaly
Maintain a close communication and coordination with the operational teams to ensure the contribution of all relevant functions to the delivery of procured services
Ensure the repair order process for parts runs smoothly
Ensure internal/external customers are updated on status of repair orders & warranty claims
Secondary responsibility -
In agreement with GM, participate in and plan external and internal visits with repair shops
In cooperation with Process Manager, ensure internal and external repair processes are reviewed and improved where needed
Identify, initiate or offer suggestions to improve efficiency internally and with repair shops
Keep GM, relevant Product Manager and Process Specialist informed of changes in repair shop performance

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
Degree in Economic or Industrial engineering preferable with the specialization in supply chain or procurement
Relevant work experience and profound knowledge of supplier management & improvement, customer services, supply chain, negotiation skills and a basic technical knowledge
Strong hands-on skills in the areas of repair management
Excellent analytical skills and a proactive working attitude
Credible in front of internal and external business partners
Strong G-Suite expertise
High management skills
High negotiation and problem solving abilities and comfortable in handling repair vendors
Strong proficiency in both English and Chinese, both written and spoken
